Shiefton Supplementary School (SSS) is a ‘spin-off’ of the youth group. Established in 1994, it seeks to address the concern of parents who do not wish their child/children to underachieve in mainstream schools.

Shiefton Supplementary School provides supplementary education in:

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • French
  • Black Studies
  • Information Technology
  • SATs
  • GCSE revision (English & Maths)

Although our clientele is predominantly of African/Caribbean descent and Dual Heritage, we embrace nationalities from local diverse communities.

An active parents’ group meets regularly to discuss matters relating to the curriculum and the running of the school.
Shiefton has an elected Management Committee that meets once a month and holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Management Committee is made up of nominated volunteers from the local community.
